Did you know you can make holiday stuffing in the air fryer with zero mess and all the crunch?
Stuffing is probably the one dish I look forward to the most during Thanksgiving and this air fryer stuffing provides a soft flavorful center with a crunchy textured outside making it a perfect complement to any Thanksgiving turkey.
The secret trick here though? Using @frywithvailnd paper liners. They are BPA and PFAS free and keep your air fryer clean, free of oil and no washing needed while still maintaining the perfect crispness. I will never cook in my air fryer without them.
And of course my favorite part about Thanksgiving air fryer stuffing is it frees up oven space which we know is prime real estate during the holidays providing a modern take on a traditional recipe.
Are you going to try this recipe this year? Let me know in the comments below!
Ingredients:
Olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 celery ribs, diced
2 tsp dried garlic powder
2 tsp dried sage
2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups bread cubes
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup half and half
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 egg
*parsley for topping
Directions: In a pan over medium heat, add in some olive oil and cook onion and celery until softened. Add in the seasonings until combined and remove from heat. Mix together chicken broth, half and half, melted butter and egg. In a big bowl combine veggies, egg mixture and bread crumbs and mix until evenly distributed. Let rest at room temp for 15-30 minutes. Preheat Air fryer at 350F for 5 minutes. Separate the stuffing into 2 Vailnd air fryer liners. Cover each with foil packed all the way onto the stuffing to remove as little air space as possible. Cook each separately for 15 minutes. Remove foil and finish cooking for another 5 minutes to crisp the top. Serve together on a big platter topped with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
