Morning Blueberry and Pineapple Smoothie

With the New Year coming I have to tell you, juice cleanses are just not recommended. What I can say is smoothies can certainly be a part of a healthy lifestyle.

Juice, even homemade juice, remove the pulp, fiber, and most phytonutrients that are huge benefits of fruit or vegetable (don’t do that to yourself!).

But smoothies can certainly be utilized which allows for convenience and may be an easy grab and go for any meal or snack that still packs fruits, vegetables, or other awesome Whole Foods.

One study (PMID 36364827) shows that blending berries actually had some reduced glycemic response in healthy adults which may be related to the seeds present in berries.

This smoothie here contains both blackberries but also 2 other seed varieties (hemp and chia) which certainly may can help with both glycemic response and increased fiber, healthy fats, and protein.

And TBH this smoothie was amazing 🤩

Y’all I collaborated with @mychefman whom sent me this beautiful blender. It also came with an “on the go” smaller container with lid so you can blend and go which I love. AND it’s dishwasher safe 🤌🏻

With this collab they did give me a discount code if you use MELISSA10 at checkout ☺️ You can check them out with the link in my bio. If youre in the market for a new (and beautiful) blender I can verify this one works well!
